Skiing Around the World Volume II

ALL NEW MATERIAL-Volume II of Skiing Around the World is entirely made up of new material. It includes all new photos (more than 1100) and written material about ski locations that were not included in Volume I. It includes chapters about more than 20 countries that were not included in Volume I and it has new chapters on the major ski countries that cover different ski resorts than those in Volume I. For example, the chapter on Austria in Volume I included sections on Saalbach, St. Anton, Sölden, Innsbruck, Bad Gastein, the Pitztal, Nauders, and the Zillertal. The chapter on Austria in Volume II includes sections about Kitzbühel, the Krippenstein, Dachstein West, Altaussee, Tauplitz, the Montafon Valley, Ischgl and the Paznaun Valley.

As in Volume I, this all-new book includes famous ski resorts, insider tips about powder havens that few people have discovered, and exotic locations that even the most avid skiers have probably never dreamed of skiing. In Volume II, you can read about household names like Kitzbühel, Aspen, or La Plagne, you can discover little known pearls like Røldal in Norway, Glencoe, Scotland, and Cerler in Spain, and you can enjoy adventures on skis in exotic destinations like Venezuela, Uganda, and Kamchatka.
